Tuesday is my designated spinning day. I spun this.
This is the pink and white section of the roving.
I also measured up this.
Post washing it comes to 295 grams and 488 metres. (My online convertors tells me that this is 10.425 ounces and 533.6 yards). It’s a three-ply.
You sound so well organized, but I guess it is the only way to be as productive as you are while looking after a kid.
Oh my gosh, it’s gorgeous!!!!
What lovely spinning! Well done.
You are doing so well – do you find it addictive? I have been trying to spin for an hour each day to get through my Spinning Project and I find some days I just can’t stop! The kids deal with that though :)! Lovely, lovely products! You wont need to buy yarn soon! 🙂
Your spinning is always so beautiful! What are you going to make with it?
I cant get over how quickly you’ve become such a good spinner. That pink is awesome.
I love that middle one the most (and if you don’t for some reason, I’ll happily take it off your hands Ü). What are you making with it? And how do you know how many meters it is?!
I must get myself a spinning wheel. I’ve almost convinced myself that
a) it will make my spinning much neater and quicker and
b) it really is a necessity since we have two sheep.
lol
Three separate bobbins, or Navajo plying? Adding my vote to Tam’s: that middle one is particularly nice.
I still don’t have my studio uncluttered to the point where I can get at my wheel…
